BEGINNERS LESSONS

Beginners of any age from 3 years old onwards are welcome! Initial technique is taught using the Suzuki method. Associated Board exams can be prepared for or alternatively aural folk fiddle styles learnt.

ADULT LESSONS - CLASSICAL OR FOLK

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, Mike will be delighted to teach you. You can explore the classical repertoire or learn Irish, Scottish, American Bluegrass and Klezmer folk fiddle styles. 

ADVANCED LEVEL  LESSONS

Mike is happy to teach pupils who have already reached Grades 5 – 8 and above. Lessons extend technique and look in depth at specific areas of the classical repertoire.  Ensemble coaching is also available. 

COST OF LESSONS

30 min lesson costs £20.00, a 45 min lesson costs £30.00 and a 60 min lesson costs  £40.00.

VIOLIN HIRE

Violins are available through a rental scheme. Hire takes place by the term, and half a term's notice is required for termination.
